The International Research Center in CRMs for Advanced Industrial Technologies, in Burgos, Spain is hosting “International Days in Critical Raw Materials” on 25-26th June 2015.

This important event is focusing on research & business opportunities to meet the challenges regarding Extraction & Mining, Recycling & Circular Economy, and Substitution of Critical Raw Materials (CRMs).
Presentations by relevant authorities and International actors in the European scene in critical raw materials are planned. Among others, is confirmed the presence of the Spanish authorities, EU Commission, Nanotechnology Industries Association Directorship, Presidency of Nanofutures, Presidency of Euromines, Manager of collocation center south of EIT KIC RAW MATERIALS, CEFIC, different directors and representatives of main R&D institutions in the field, etc. (final list of speakers will be published in the next days). Moreover, technical parallel sessions on “Advanced Materials and CRM substitution technologies“, “Mining and raw materials” and “Circular Economy and Recycling” will take place.
UBU will bring together important researchers, experts, businessmen and world-renowned names as speakers and participants. We aim to create an environment that fosters a dialogue among the participants, leading to discussions and collaboration opportunities. There will be sessions in different formats such as plenary meetings and poster sessions.
A Brokerage Event throughout 25th June has been organised, focussing on the main topics previewed for SC5 in 2016/2017.
An industrial business day and exchange with and between stakeholders is also planned for 26th June. We are expecting a close interaction with SMEs and industry, including the 25 companies that take part on the industrial board of ICCRAM.
